This series of drawings captures a fleeting state — that moment when the spirit of a feline suddenly takes over. You become it.
It’s a visceral transformation: fierce, powerful, and silent. It arrives without warning, triggered by some seemingly trivial circumstance, and takes you by surprise. It doesn’t quite feel like you… but it is — a hidden version of yourself, waiting beneath the surface.

These drawings give form to that moment — when the sleeping animal within awakens and seizes the scene.
Later, while designing a label for an intensely bold red wine, the concept — what I’ve come to call felinity — returned to me. I realised I had already explored it in this series, so I decided to include one of the drawings in the final design.
